Hero Dogs 5K9

Puppy raisers and volunteers for Hero Dogs, Inc. are excited to present the 4th Annual Hero Dogs 5K9, our 3rd year with an IN-PERSON option hosted at Congressional Cemetery in Washington DC. This year ALL in-person finishers (for both the 1K and 5K) will receive a Hero Dogs medal!

This year we are also offering registration for your furry 4-legged friends - Add-on Registration for Pups is $10 and includes a Hero Dogs Bandana! Please note: Only Hero Dogs will be permitted at the in-person event (service dogs, therapy dogs, skilled home companions and service dogs in training). Other dogs may register to receive the bandana giveaway but will not be allowed at Congressional on Race Day.

All participants that complete the in-person race will receive a medal at the finish line!

Registration Deadlines as follows:

March 1 - Priority Registration Deadline ($30 price ends)

March 15th - Early Bird Registration Deadline ($35 price ends)

April 25th - Regular Registration with T-Shirt Guarantee ends ($40)

Registration will continue through Race Day but t-shirts cannot be guaranteed after the April 25th date. Virtual race registration is $10 more and includes the cost of shipping your t-shirt - you do NOT need to add shipping if you select the virtual option. All packet pickup will be available prior to the race at Congressional Cemetery. If you prefer to have your packet mailed, you will need to add a $10 shipping charge. Any t-shirts not picked up at the race will NOT be mailed.
