We are a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible animal rescue organization whose mission is to save as many animals as possible. We work closely with Animal Services in Alachua and Bradford counties to reduce euthanasias at the county shelters.

We adopt dogs and cats of all ages to good homes at the Gainesville Petsmart ( Butler Plaza on Archer Rd, click for a map ) every Saturday and Sunday. We can also arrange to meet you at our Melrose adoption center by appointment. We have a great selection of adoptable animals, including puppies, adult dogs, small dogs, cats, and kittens. All of our animals have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated (depending on their age, they may need further vaccinations after adoption), vet checked and treated for any known illness. All dogs are heartworm negative and many have been through heartworm treatment in our program. Some of these animals may have special needs, all of which are discussed at time of adoption.

Puppy Hill Farm Animal Rescue is proud to be a member of the Maddie's Pet Rescue Project in Alachua County. With our partner agencies, we are working on becoming a "no-kill" community. We are grateful to the Maddie's organization for their help in ending euthanasia of adoptable pets in Alachua County.
