I’m Suzette Bravo, and I’m inviting you to join me and my team, Bravo Company for a very special event.
On Saturday, September 21, 2024, we’ll be participating in Gilda’s Race for Hope. The event is hosted by Gilda's Club, an incredible organization named in honor of the legendary Gilda Radner (If you aren’t old enough to know who she was, she was one of the founding members of SNL. Google her, it will be worth it!). Gilda’s Club provides essential support for families touched by cancer – patients, survivors, and their loved ones.
As many of you know, cancer has deeply affected my life. I lost my husband to this horrible disease in January 2013. The journey was devastating, and it also taught me the immense value of love, community and asking for support!
Bravo Company is not just a team with a really cool name; it’s a tribute to resilience, love, and the power of coming together. We’re lacing up our sneakers to honor those we've lost, support those still fighting, and celebrate the survivors. And trust me, we’ll be running with smiles, laughter, and maybe even a few Gilda-inspired jokes along the way.
Why should you join us or donate? Because who doesn’t love to have fun and support a great cause?! And, because every step we take and every dollar we raise helps Gilda’s Club provide free support groups, educational workshops, and social activities for families affected by cancer. No one should feel alone in this journey!
