Description
Our 4th annual Gilda’s Race for Hope Color Run will take place on September 21, 2024. Whether you’re running, jogging, walking, or taking it around town on your own, we’re so thrilled to have you join the fun!
Join us as families, friends, and coworkers come out to support our courageous cancer community and ensure that as a community we are stronger than cancer, and bring hope to cancer patients, caregivers, and loved ones so that no one has to face cancer alone.
Held annually in Broward County, FL, Gilda's Race for Hope displays the dedication our community has to ensure that Gilda’s Club South Florida is able to continue its very important mission of providing FREE social and emotional support to anyone touched by cancer.

Location: Nova Southeastern University, 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd., Davie, FL 33314
Registration Begins: 7:30 a.m.
Runners Start: 8:30 a.m.
Walkers Start: 8:35 a.m.

- Runners ONLY: Racing bib with chip timing and a finisher medal. Winners of their age categories will receive a special medal.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE & FUNDRAISE
- Register for Gilda's Race for Hope! Sign up as a Team or Individual. There is a $30 early-bird registration fee which includes a Gilda's Race for Hope signature t-shirt (once the registrant fundraises or donates $25 or more on their race page), participation medal, and swag bag.
- Start fundraising and sharing! You will have the capability to sync your fundraising efforts on Facebook. All monies raised help Gilda's Club South Florida provide cancer patients and their families with a community of hope.
All registrants will receive exclusive communications including special recognitions and opportunities to spotlight your fundraising efforts; and an opportunity to connect with other survivors, caregivers, and others impacted by cancer.
We encourage registrants to fundraise at least $250 for Gilda’s Club. But don't stop there! The more you fundraise, the more you are helping in providing FREE support groups to individuals facing the stress and impact of a cancer diagnosis.

Gilda's Club South Florida has led the charge in South Florida to build a vibrant community of cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones. We provide relevant and highly personalized support when and where it is most needed. Our mission is to uplift and strengthen people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care. Whether it's providing FREE services including support groups, individual counseling, or educational workshops, Gilda's Club South Florida provides a space where no one faces cancer alone.

Start A Team
Gilda's Race for Hope's Color Run makes a huge impact thanks to our collective fundraising power. The biggest way you can help is by starting a team. You can provide hope to those who need it most and fundraise in support of FREE cancer programs and services for anyone impacted by cancer including families and friends. Starting your team means you can recruit your teammates, set up a fundraising goal, and organize fundraising activities. But where to start?
Just Follow These Steps:
- Sign-up Yourself and Start Your Team - Give your team a fun name!
- Recruit Your Team - invite friends, family, and coworkers to join in. Send emails, post on social media. Remember that the bigger the team, the more fundraising you can do, and the bigger the impact you can make.
- Set A Fundraising Goal - make a plan with your team, and strategize fun ways to reach your goals
- Raise Money - all you have to do is ask simply by sending an email, spreading the word on social media, and starting a Facebook fundraiser
- Celebrate in September - Celebrate all your hard work while remembering the powerful impact your team is having by creating a Community of Hope
