I am participating in the Love, Jessica Inc. 'Race For A Cause' 5k Run/Walk + 1k Kids Dash! In 2017, we lost our daughter, Halia Rose Beron. She was born still on May 19, 2017. We were blessed with a community that came together to help us with cremation costs. However, receiving medical bills was like a slap in the face after coming home empty handed.
I quickly learned that I am not alone--there are many other family who have gone through the same pain, including my parents who will be walking in memory of my brother, John Martin. We are proud to participate in this 5k and hope to raise money to help other's in similar situations. I appreciate any level of support.
