Dear Friends,
As an EMS Provider, whitewater guide and ski patroller, I have seen first hand how important LifeFlight is to individual patients and communities across our state. I'm reaching out to ask you to contribute to LifeFlight of Maine, if you are able.
As a part of their "Crossing for LifeFlight" fundraiser, all over the state, people are hiking, paddling, biking, swimming (and donating) to show their support. Later this week, in a nod to the original “Islesboro Crossing” I am going to swim a 5k (3.1 miles) with a group of “Team North Haven” swimmers.
My family is dedicated to supporting this non-profit because LifeFlight is a critically important part of Maine’s medical infrastructure: providing hospital-to-hospital transports and scene responses, including many such responses over the years to North Haven Island to transport seriously ill and injured patients.
