Our story initially began in 2015 when we, Chris & Jen Williamson, first moved south and everywhere we went people saw our Maine license plate and jokingly asked if we had any Maine lobster with us. It was a daily occurrence, and a seed was planted- how do we bring this famous Maine Lobster from the cold waters and rocky coast of Downeast Maine to the gorgeous shores of Coastal Carolina?
Fast forward 6 years and after dropping our daughter off at Liberty University, an enthralling conversation between Jen and her daughter's father, Trevor Dostie (former husband and close friend) was held, and Trevor's entrepreneurial gifts kicked in. Packing up and moving south a few months later- he joined the Williamsons in Surf City and the three of us- a united, albeit modern family, helped bring this vision to fruition. Spearheaded by Trevor as the face of the brand, with the Williamsons running behind the scenes- we introduced Maine Lobstah Shack to Topsail Island.
Now, locals and those from afar can enjoy mouthwatering, sweet, Maine lobster. Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned New Englander, "The Shack" which focuses on God, family, and food aims to please.
