In Indiana in 2024—42,710 people are expected to be diagnosed with cancer and 14,280 are expected to lose their lives to cancer. Hoosiers Outrun Cancer raises funds for Cancer Support Community (CSC) programs—providing free support to ANYONE impacted by cancer.
A few examples of how CSC helps families in our community are: counseling & support groups, nutrition & exercise classes, oncology massage therapy, reiki, cancer education, social connections, food & transportation assistance, wigs, comfort kits, and so much more.
As the next generation of nurse leaders and proud members of the Bloomington Community, raising money to support this cause is very important to the Red Scrubs Runners!
