In an "Alex"-y far far away...

There was a fierce tribe of warriors who demanded only one thing in the universe: A cure for CACNA1A-related disorders. They were called:

The Demandalorians

Please join these warriors for the 4th Annual CACNA1A 5K! All funds raised will directly support their battle against this rare disease and raise global awareness and funds for much-needed research to help the CACNA1A community. Current treatment options are limited, and there is no cure. YET.

Together we have the chance to accelerate life-changing research and improve the lives of those affected by CACNA1A-related disorders! Goodness and light defeated the Galactic Empire. Let us embrace these principles and claim victory over the dark side of disease!

 

Join us virtually (run/walk/roll where you are) or in-person on Saturday May 18th at Hasting Lakes Forest Preserve (21155 W Gelden Rd, Lake Villa, IL 60046). The walk will start a 9 am. Please arrive by 8:45 am. We will have one of the small pavilions set up as gathering place. The route will loop approximately 3/4 around the lake (blue trail) and then head through the prairie (yellow trail). See below. We will have drinks and food (muffins, granola, yogurt, fruit, granola bars, bagels, etc) post-walk. Thank you to everyone for your love and support!
