Cycling for the betterment of these Trees

Dear Friends and Family,

You can help me make a big impact for the national parks I love!

I am participating in the virtual race Running Wild in Giant Forest to raise money for Sequoia Parks Conservancy, the official non-profit partner of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The race will be held throughout the month of November, and I have a goal to bike with my son, 200 miles! More importantly, I want to raise around $150, or more to help the parks that are near and dear to my heart.

I once worked as a scientist within these parks, striving to help these awe-inspiring trees along; My son then followed my steps inspiring those who visit by sharing my story. Please help us along as we cycle for the betterment of the Giant Sequoias. Around 10-11% of Mature Giant Sequoias gone, and soil sterilization, the Giants face a new challenge. You can help them face this daunting challenge of survival, by simply donating a few cents to a couple of dollars. I appreciate you, and I know the Sequoia's appreciate you even more!
