What We Do
Sequoia Parks Conservancy is the official nonprofit partner of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks which sees more than two million visitors per year. SPC’s efforts have been critical in the conservation of wild, beautiful landscapes for the enjoyment and inspiration of generations of visitors. Priority projects for SPC include raising funds for sequoia conservation, education and outreach, trails and accessibility, wildlife management, resource management and science and search and rescue.
How We Accomplish Our Goals
SPC works hand-in-hand with the National Park Service to establish priority fundraising objectives. We also operate the visitor center stores throughout Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We proudly operate Crystal Cave which hosts over 60,000 visitors each summer, offer interpretive programs through SPC Adventures and host park-wide events like the Dark Sky Festival.
