Hello or Jambo ... as they say in Kenya!
We have been working with OWI for over 20 years. Our goal is to help the most vulnerable kids in the poor Kiminini village in Kenya to attain education from pre-primary through high school, and some even through colleges. This is how to break the cycle of abject poverty. Educate a child, change the society!
We have seen it first hand hearing the happy testimonies of the 115 youths that have already graduated out and are making progress in their careers and vocations. This is remarkable, as often the kids come from illiterate, poor homes with minimal resources to even have a meal. We currently have 78 kids in our sponsorship in various stages of their educational journeys and more kids are in the waiting list.
We would so appreciate for you chipping in, whatever you can, as all donations go 100% to benefit the kids and their poor widowed moms or grandmoms that the kids live with, as we all here in the U.S. are volunteers.
