Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is the first Greek-letter organization established, by African American women, on January 15, 1908. The Upsilon Kappa Omega Chapter was chartered December 1, 1996.
The ladies of Upsilon Kappa Omega Chapter are among the most visible organizations in North Carolina’s Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, and Pope Army Airfield community. The chapter strives to identify the needs of the local community and responds to them under Alpha Kappa Alpha’s international strategic program.
