Marine Corps Marathon Semper Fi & America's Fund Team 2024

My name is Suze, and I'm proudly supporting Semper Fi & America's Fund as a Community Athlete for the 2024 Marine Corps Marathon Semper Fi & America's Fund Team. This organization is particularly special to me as it served as a huge support to my long-term partner Russell Scott, a former Marine and recipient of two Purple Hearts for his service in OIF 1 & 2. Russ was seriously wounded in the Battle of Fallujah in November, 2004, and Semper Fi Fund provided him with, i.e., clothing during his initial hospitalization overseas, flights for his parents to visit him while hospitalized in California, and educational materials while in college. Semper Fi Fund has also been a wonderful source of community after his retirement from the military.
