Come as you are
None of us is perfect. Not even close. God created us in his own image without sin, but mankind fell into sin. Ever since then, every one of us falls short.
And yet, we are not alone.
God is with us, and in the Bible, he revealed his plan for our salvation though his Son, Jesus Christ. That’s why we come together as a congregation of believers, as God’s dearly loved children, to eagerly hear His message.
Hear God's Word
We look to scripture in all things. No other source tells us God’s plan for salvation. We recognize our sin and our deep need for our Savior. And, we hear how God sent his son, Jesus Christ, to bear the sins of the world, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” [John 3:16]
Find comfort, encouragement and joy
Together as believers, we have comfort knowing Jesus’ death on the cross paid for our sins in full. God did this out of love, and his grace is freely given. There is no act or good work that we could ever do to achieve this salvation. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” [Ephesians 2: 8-9]
Our joy in grace is to love God and to love our neighbors by sharing His message with the world.
