Story Walking for Independence: My Journey with Vision Loss As someone living with severe vision loss from glaucoma, I understand firsthand how important independence, accessibility, and support are for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. While vision loss has changed many aspects of my life, it has also strengthened my determination to advocate for others facing similar challenges. That’s why I am participating in the Braille Trail Walk for Independence.
