I have been running recreationally for just a few months shy of two years and was motivated to enter my first official 5K race when I learned about Bridges a non-profit charitable organization based out of my own town of Summit, NJ that is doing great work to avoid and reduce homelessness not just in Summit but also in the broader community in places such as Irvington, Newark and NYC.
