Sometime in the 15th century, deep in the Lithuanian Commonwealth, some enterprising Lithuanian boiled a ring of dough, and then baked it. Thus unto the world the BAGEL WAS BORN!*

It wouldn’t be until the early 1900’s in New York that the Bagel would meet its forever soulmate, cream cheese.

In 2024, after stretches as a Michelin-level Chef, Investment Banker, and Tech executive, Yero Rudzinskas - himself an enterprising Lithuanian - would open Baltik’s Bagel, bringing kettle-boiled bagels, a chef driven approach (and those softies!) to the people of the Southside of Richmond, VA.

*This could’ve happened in Poland, or Austria as well, historians disagree, but we’re pretty sure it was Lithuania :)

Baltik’s Bagel is guided by four simple core values:

-Offer tremendous value to our guests
-Keep our promises, expect everyone else to
-Take care of our people, expect excellence
-Always a great guest experience, always
