PHF NORTHEAST WALK for Hydrocephalus Research 2025

We are walking today to raise awareness and to raise funds for research into hydrocephalus. Sal was born into a NICU and monitored heavily for the first weeks of his life. At 10 weeks old, he had his first surgery - neurosurgery - that saved his life. Everyone who knows Sal, now almost 17 years old, sees a happy, energetic sports enthusiast. Gone is the baby born into the NICU, who had neurosurgery at 10 weeks old. Sal is fortunate; he’s still here to tell his story. Sadly, others do not. 

We are walking today to raise awareness and to raise money to fund research to save more lives. We are grateful for all of your prayers and support. We are also grateful to everyone who is able to donate any amount towards the research that can save Sal’s life.
