The Northeastern Men's Basketball team is excited to support You're With Us!, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusion opportunities for young adults (18+) with disabilities, in the Doug Flutie Jr. for Autism 5K. We are joining them in their commitment to helping those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) live life to the fullest! To learn more about their campaign, view their fundraising page here.

Our dedication to inclusion started in 2013 when Max Plansky, born with cerebral palsy, was welcomed onto our team by Coach Bill Coen. Max attended many practices and games, and despite his adversity, the energy and love he had for the sport became the beating heart of Northeastern Men's Basketball. The positive impact of Max’s spot on our team—both for him and for the teammates who grew alongside him—is ultimately what inspired his dad, Michael Plansky, to start You’re With Us!

You're With Us! has touched the lives of many, including those with disabilities and the peers who support them. We are grateful for the opportunity to spread their mission and continue our work of building inclusion and belonging!
