FUNdraising Levels

Every dollar raised helps the Hope Network support our family, friends, and neighbors when they are in need. While this is serious work, we like to have fun supporting those who want to take their advocacy of the mission the "extra mile". Below are the different fundraising levels that are designed to recognize YOU for using your voice, social media, and network to help fund our mission:

  • Raise $50, receive a headlamp and an entry into Gazelle Sports gift package drawing
  • Raise $100, receive the above, 50% off entry into the World Mental Health Day Virtual 5/10K, an extra food/drink ticket for the afterparty celebration and an entry into HOKA shoe drawing
  • Raise $250, receive the above items, two extra food/drink tickets, One in Five Series water bottle, and a free entry into the World Mental Health Day Virtual 5/10K
  • Raise $500, receive the above items and a pair of One in Five Series sunglasses
  • Raise $750, receive the above items, a VIP Parking pass, and a One in Five Series cooler backpack
  • Raise $1,000, the above items, a One in Five Series JBL Speaker, VIP area entry at the One in Five Team Marathon and 5K afterparty celebration, and an entry in the VIP prize drawing

NOTE: All members of teams who raise at least $2,000 collectively can receive access to the VIP area. (VIP area perks include private luxury bathroom trailer access, massage area, stocked cooler and reserved table, VIP servers, champagne toast and more)

The good news is that you are not alone. Not only will other participants be fundraising with you, but we are also here to help you with tips and ideas. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Simply share your fundraising link on your social media, with a story of why you are participating in a One in Five Series to support the Hope Network's mental health work. Tell your network your goal and when you hope to accomplish it. And don't forget to say "thank you" in a post when people donate.

  • Create a fundraising goal and break it down based on the distance you plan to run. For instance, say you are signed up for the 10K (6.2 Mile) leg. You can tell people that your goal is to raise $620 by race day, which is $100 a mile of your race. You can invite people to sponsor all or part of a mile. Some participants have even written names on their shirts to represent who is supporting each mile.

  • Don't get discouraged. Today, people need to hear and see a message a number of times before they take action. Most people are procrastinators too when it comes to making donations. That is why it is important to share your goals and timeline so people know when to donate, for instance, "my goal is to raise $100 by the end of the weekend".
