General Questions
Where can I complete my 5K?
Anywhere! This is your virtual 5K experience, and we want you to complete it wherever! Sidewalks, paths, treadmills, swimming pools, lakes–or anywhere else— every mile counts!
What items are included with the 2021 Track ‘Em Tigers Virtual 5K participant kit?
The participant kit includes a custom designed t-shirt, race bib, and a finisher’s medal with reusable lanyard.
When do I need to complete my 5K?
Participate in the Track ‘Em Tigers Virtual 5K can be completed any time between October 18 and October 31, 2021. Post your results on the RESULTS page through November 7, 2021.
Do I need to submit results to get a medal?
No. Your medal will be sent to you with your participant kit. Once you complete your 5K, sign in to your RunSignUp account and click "Results" in the top navigation tab. You will be able to log your time and download your personalized finisher’s certificate. Please share your photos of your 2021 Track ‘Em Tigers Virtual 5K experience!
How do I track my distance and time?
For the Track ‘Em Tigers Virtual 5K, we accept results on the honor system, but the most accurate tracking is typically via a device with GPS tracking.
When will my kit ship?
Participant kits will begin shipping the week of October 11, 2021. After that, kits will be shipped within 2-5 business days of your registration date. Please allow a few extra days for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Be sure to register at least two weeks prior to the date you plan to complete the 5K, so you’ll have your participant kit in hand when you do!
Do you ship internationally?
The Track ‘Em Tigers Virtual 5K participant kit can only be shipped to addresses within the contiguous United States, Alaska and Hawaii. International participants can opt to receive a virtual kit with a downloadable bib and finisher certificate through the registration link.
What do I do if my t-shirt doesn’t fit?
Shirts will be ordered based on registrations, so unfortunately, we cannot exchange sizes once a registration is completed.
Registration Questions
When is registration for the Track ‘Em Tigers Virtual 5K open?
Online registration for the Track ‘Em Tigers Virtual 5K opens on September 20, 2021 and participant kits will begin shipping the week of October 11.
When does registration close?
Online registration for the Track ‘Em Tigers Virtual 5K closes on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 11:59 pm CT.
Can we register as a team?
Yes! There is an option to register a team at the beginning of the registration process.
How do I update my personal information within my account?
Login to your RunSignUp account here. You can change all personal information here such as email, password, address, etc. We cannot change t-shirt sizes after a registration has been submitted.
Can I register more than one person under my account?
Yes! You can register multiple participants under the same account. Select the "Register Another Person" option on the first page of registration, or you can start a new registration and enter your email as the account holder. The primary name at checkout (cardholder name) will receive tax-credit for all registrants in your group.
Team + Fundraising Questions
Am I required to be part of a team?
No, you do not have to join a team to complete registration.
How do I create and/or join a team?
In order to create a team you must first start the registration process. On the first page of your registration process, select your category and tell us who you are, then you can create your team. To join a team, use the dropdown menu on the second registration page to select or search for your team —add yourself and submit your registration.
How do I become the Team Captain?
To become the Team Captain you must be the first person to register/create the Team.
Where does a portion of my registration go?
A portion of your Runner’s Packet fee will support further programming and initiatives of the Auburn Alumni Association.
