Participants are encouraged to pick up their packet on Wednesday to avoid race morning lines.
Yes, Registration remains open online until 30 minutes before the start of the race.
Participants are encouraged to register early for preferred shirt sizes and a smoother race-day experience.
We recommend participants use the parking lot at James and Creek Drive. Signs on George Street will direct you to this area.
Note: If you want to leave before the 5K run is completed, we strongly suggest parking in the lots behind the Millersville University Library. Access to those lots is located on West Frederick St. Most of the course will be closed to traffic until around 10:00am.
Yes.
Indoor restroom facilities are available at Biemesderfer Stadium before and after the race.
No. Dogs and pets are not permitted on the course for the safety of all participants.
Yes.
Participants may wear headphones; however, all runners and walkers should remain aware of their surroundings and follow instructions from race officials, volunteers, and public safety personnel.
Yes. Strollers are welcome.
For the safety of all participants, those using strollers should line up toward the rear of the starting area and exercise caution throughout the event.
👨👩👧 Can I pick up a packet for a friend or family member?
Yes.
Participants may pick up race packets on behalf of family members and friends.
Please take a moment to verify that each participant receives the correct bib number and race packet. Wearing another participant’s bib may result in incorrect race results and awards.
Yes.
The Millersville Turkey Trot will be held rain or shine. Participants should dress appropriately for Thanksgiving morning weather conditions.
Should severe weather or other circumstances impact participant safety, updates will be communicated through official event channels.
During registration, participants may create a new team or join an existing team.

- From the pop-up select Join Existing Group/Team
- Either select a Group/Team from the dropdown or Search Groups/Teams

Participants who are unable to stay for the awards ceremony may arrange for a friend or family member to pick up their award.
