I understand and acknowledge that the LBI Halloween Hustle 5K FUNDRAISER for the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company #1 and EMS, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. The Event will be held rain or shine, and I agree that there will be no refunds of the race registration fee for any reason, including but not limited to, my failure to participate, injury, travel issues, or cancellation or alteration of the Event due to severe weather events. This explicitly includes, without limitation: Nor’easters, Flooding, Tropical Storms or Hurricanes, National or Local Weather Advisories, and Declarations of State of Emergency by any governmental authority. In the event of severe weather or any other unforeseen circumstance, the Event Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the course or race format in the interest of public safety, with all registration fees remaining non-refundable.
