The Hollings Cup Regatta is a charity event to raise money for innovative and lifesaving cancer research at the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center right here in Charleston. MUSC Hollings Cancer Center is one of only 71 National Cancer Institute-designated cancer centers in the nation and the largest academic based cancer research program in South Carolina. Their mission is to reduce the cancer burden in South Carolina and nationally through innovative research, exceptional education and training, multidisciplinary patient care, statewide cancer prevention programs and progressive public policy transformation. MUSC is currently building South Carolina’s first dedicated cancer hospital, a transformative institution designed to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care!

This year will be our 5th Hollings Cup Regatta. Last year, Team RumFront raised nearly $40,000, and the Charleston sailing community as a whole raised over $150,000! This year we are hoping to raise even more! Want to help?

The event includes a day of racing in the Charleston Harbor, followed by an after party for all at Harborside East! We also have a spectator boat so non-sailors can purchase tickets to get out on the water and watch the racing up close! This year's event is on September 12th.
