Cancer has affected my life and the lives of almost everyone I know in some way.

That is why I am proud to be participating in the MUSC Hollings Cup Regatta with Defiant Sailing.

This event gives us the opportunity to take something we love — sailing — and use it to support something much bigger than ourselves. The funds raised through the Hollings Cup benefit MUSC Hollings Cancer Center and help support lifesaving cancer research, treatment, and care.

Defiant Sailing was built around the belief that you can set the course and defy the odds. That message fits this mission perfectly.
