Herren Project helps individuals and families live healthy, fulfilling lives by preventing substance misuse, supporting recovery, and creating resilient communities. Founded by former professional basketball player and person in long-term recovery Chris Herren, Herren Project has deep roots in Massachusetts and continues to serve individuals, families, schools, and communities throughout Central Massachusetts, New England, and across the country.

Through recovery housing scholarships, peer recovery coaching, family support services, youth prevention programs, and community-building initiatives, Herren Project meets people wherever they are in their journey. All services are provided at no cost, helping ensure that financial barriers don't prevent individuals and families from accessing support when they need it.

Herren Project believes that support matters at every stage, from preventing substance misuse among young people to helping individuals build a strong foundation in recovery and ensuring families have a place to turn.
