For more than 20 years, St. John’s Food for the Poor has served individuals and families in need throughout the Worcester community, guided by Christian charity and a commitment to recognizing the dignity of every human being.
Each week, dedicated volunteers prepare and serve more than 1,500 hot meals to individuals experiencing hunger and hardship. In addition to its daily meal service, the organization provides a weekly food pantry, clothing, hygiene essentials, and access to mobile showers. St. John’s Food for the Poor also operates Harrington House, a 16-bed sober living residence that supports men in recovery as they work toward stability and independence.
Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, St. John’s Food for the Poor continues to provide nourishment, compassion, and hope to neighbors in need. Every donation helps sustain these essential services and make a meaningful difference in the Worcester community.
