Since 1992, fighting in defense of human rights and the forest.
We are the Kanindé Ethno-environmental Defense Association, a Public Interest Civil Society Organization (OSCIP), founded in 1992 in Porto Velho (RO).
For over 30 years, we have worked to defend human rights, indigenous peoples, and the environment, building solutions that combine conservation, social justice, and the strengthening of territories, in partnership with indigenous associations, traditional communities, public and private institutions, and social organizations.
We believe that those who have always cared for the forest should be at the center of decisions about its present and its future.
