The University of Maryland Center for Young Children (CYC) is a play-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood program serving children ages 3–6 on the University of Maryland campus.

Donations made through the Hyattsville Zombie Run support the CYC Parent-Teacher Partnership (PTP) and help enrich the experience of CYC children, families, and teachers through community events, classroom and school resources, teacher appreciation, and other programs that benefit the CYC community.
