Don’t miss the Hyattsville Zombie run! Neighbors and friends from across the DMV area will gather in Magruder Park on Saturday, October 5th, 2019, for three fun-filled races.
This family friendly event is organized by the Hyattsville Elementary School PTA. All proceeds benefit the school. Your money will help purchase art supplies, instruments, coats for kids, classroom supplies and more!

Register online until Friday, October 4th at Noon. Sign up for multiple events and receive a $10 discount with each additional event!
After Noon on Friday, October 4th, you may still register to run but you will need to do so in person. You can register in person at our Packet Pickup or on Race Day morning. In person registration will also be available the day of the race at our registration booth starting at 7:30 AM and running until 9:15 AM. Late registrations are subject to a $5.00 increase in price for each race.
Packet Pickup will be held on Friday, October 4th. Packet pickup will also be available the day of the race at Magruder Park. You must show a photo ID to pick up your race packet. Minors may pick up their packet with accompanying parent or guardian. Want to pick up a packet for a friend? Bring a photocopy (or picture) of their photo ID.
Goodies and Shirts
5K/1K/1M entrants will receive a Hyattsville Zombie Run T-shirt, goody bag, and finish line food and drink. T-shirt sizes are taken to help us estimate the numver of shirts in that size we order but shirt are available on a first come first serve basis. T-shirts can be requested in youth sizes S, M, and L, and adult sizes S, M, L, XL, and XXL. First place finishers in each age category will receive a Zombie Run medal. There will be an awards ceremony immediately after the 5K.
Parking and Metro
Parking is available at the Prince George’s County Courthouse building at 4990 Rhode Island Avenue. The entrance to the garage is on 43rd Avenue, across from Artist and Craftsman Supply. We do not have permission to park in the WSSC lot. Car-pooling with your runner or walker friends is always a great option! Don’t arrive too late. The race starting line is a 20 minute walk from the West Hyattsville metro on the Green Line
