The mission of the Delaware Military Academy is to prepare young men and women for their next level of education and to provide them with a foundation that leads to good citizenship. In addition, DMA will furnish them with a healthy mental and physical environment with military training as a requisite for a better understanding of the obligations of citizenship and self-discipline and to afford them opportunities for proper social activities and exposure to moral ideas.
The Delaware Military Academy is open to all applicants who are residents of Delaware, without regard to race, religion, age, sex, national origin or disability. In making a positive affirmation of this policy the Academy is guided by both the letter and the spirit of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX of the Higher Education Act of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990.
