WHEN should I run this?
The official race days are February 6th and 7th. If those dates don't work for you, you can run this ANYTIME you desire; we want you to be motivated for that half marathon or 5k and earn your swag, so choose a time that works best for you! If it motivates you to run ON race day, great! If it is best for you to wait a little bit later to run this distance, then WAIT! Most participants will be running on the originally scheduled weekend, February 6th and 7th, but that’s the benefit of a virtual event. Only the RACE is virtual – the RUN is REAL, WHENEVER you choose to do it.
WHERE should I run this?
That is 100% your choice. You may run on the treadmill, the streets around your house, or your favorite trail system. If you choose to run outdoors, please take every precaution ordered in your area. RaceJoy Anywhere is enabled for this race. When you use RaceJoy anywhere, select this event and your results will automatically be uploaded; no additional steps! Sign up, download RaceJoy, search for this race, and RUN!
How do I report my TIME?
On February 6 and 7, the virtual results submission link will be active. You’ll be able to submit YOUR time through that link until the end of the month. You'll receive emails with the link to submit your time, or you can click HERE. From there, click "submit virtual results" and follow the prompts. You do NOT HAVE to submit a time if you do not wish. You also can mark your race as "complete" without submitting a time.
Are TIMES verified?
No. For the virtual event, times reported are on the ‘honor system’.
WILL RESULTS be posted?
You bet! Starting on February 6, preliminary results will be on the RESULTS page of the website. As more and more racers report their times, you will see more accurate reporting of overall and age group placement. The most accurate rankings will be 12:01AM on February 8th.
Will participants be rewarded based on PERFORMANCE?
No, because participants are running in different locations, times, etc. we will not award anything based on performance. See next question regarding prizes!
Will there be any PRIZES?
YES – EVERYONE who registers for this event will be placed in a drawing for a $25 gift card from a local business. Winners will be announced on 2-7-21. One winner will be drawn for every five registrations! You have a 1 in 5 chance of winning $25. Winners will be contacted by email with further instructions on their winning based on their selection at registration.
HOW will I get my SWAG?
At registration, those that want their swag SOONER may select to have your swag sent to our local Road Runner Sports in Westminster for an in-person pick-up! Swag for those people ONLY will be available February 5 through 14. If those racers do not pick up their swag by then, it will be sent via USPS on the 15th.
All other racers that do NOT select to have their swag dropped off at Road Runner will have their swag mailed to them starting on Feb 5th. It will be sent through USPS. If your address in your RunSignUp account is outdated, please update it now. Click on Profile where you may then edit your personal details. If your address is not in RunSignUp, you may add it now. Likewise, you may email info@3wraces.com
WHEN will I get my SWAG?
See above for more info on swag pick up options. If you select to have your swag mailed, the first batch will be sent February 5th arriving at your location shortly aft that. The final day that we will ship swag is no later than 2-15-21.
WHAT Does my registration fee include?
See SWAG section. For the 3W Colorado Challenge, your registration fee includes a KEYCHAIN medal (13.1 or 5k), digital bib, digital finisher's certification, shipping & handling of packet, raffle entry for $25 gift cert (1 in 5 chance of winning!), and race joy access. OPTIONAL: for an additional fee, add on a long-sleeve shirt.
