FAQ

How does a 4 Hour Race Work?

The objective of the 4 Hour Freeze is to rack up as many miles as you can in 4 Hours or less. You can take breaks and do whatever you need to in your 4 hours. You are able to call it quits at any time. You must be able to complete a full lap and get back to the finish line for the miles to count. If you have just 15 minutes left on the clock, evaluate if you have time to finish a full lap before heading out. There will be 2 course loop options: 3 mile loop and 1.1 mile loop.

What is your Refund Policy?

There are no refunds.  Participants may change events at any time through packet pick up.  If you are dropping down a distance, or switching to virtual, there are no partial refunds.  If you are going up a distance, you will pay the the current price of the distance you are changing to minus the amount you originally paid. Please email us @ events@racemaker.org to request any distance changes.

Can I pick up my friends packet?

You definitely may. Please make sure that you have the permission of the friend to do so. I know that this sounds like common sense, but its happened where 1 member of a friend group picks up for all. Then Jill comes an hour later and is upset because she made the trip but Bill didn't tell her that he was handling it. Don't be Bill.

May I run/walk with my dog?

We love dogs so much! We hate to say no, but per our insurance for the event we have to say no. Dogs may absolutely come as spectators with a non-participant human. They will need to remain on a leash and off the race course. Dogs will NOT be allowed inside Brew Link. Obviously, clean up after your pup.

Will there be an aid station/food provided on the course?

You'll be running for 4 hours, so yeah, we got you! We will have a station with water, gatorade, granola bars, bananas available for athletes at the start area. There will also be some open space on the table for athletes to drop their own self-aid items. Athletes will hit this table upon completion of each loop.
