How to Join or Create a mini-mini Team
The 500 Festival mini-mini is more fun with others! Get your friends, family, school, classroom, or club involved in your Team to motivate each other and provide some friendly competition. Contact raceinfo@500festival.com to create an official mini-mini group for your club, team, or classroom! Official teams receive a 20% discount!*
How to create a Team:
- On the first page of registration, select "Yes" when asked if you would like to join or create a Team
- Click "Create a New Team"
- Select what category your team falls into:
- Running/Walking Club - Are you part of a running or walking club? Invite them to join in on the event!
- School or Classroom - Create a large team for your school or classroom, or a small team for your school club or organization
- Friends and Family - Make a team for your friends and family to see how you stack up against one another!
- Community / General Group - Don't fall into any of the above? Add your team to this category!
- Create your team name
- Set a password - If you wish to keep the group private, then you will need to include a password. Then, share the password with whomever you would like to join your team
- Spread the word - Share your team name with friends, family, or anyone else who would like to join!
How to Join a Team:
- On the first page of registration, select "Yes" when asked if you would like to join or create a Team
- Click "Join an Existing Team"
- Search for the team from the drop down, or enter the team name in the box
- If prompted, enter the team password
How to Join a Team if you are already registered:
- On your confirmation email, please click "manage my registration"
- On the next page, please click "view registration"
- It will open up a new web page, and you will see some tabs across the top. Please click "Team"
- From there, it will prompt you to join or create a Team!
