Dear Friend,
Help Make a Difference in the Fight Against Brain Cancer!
I’m reaching out to share an important cause that is close to my heart. I am fundraising for Keep Punching, a 100% volunteer-based organization dedicated to supporting patients, healthcare providers, and researchers in their fight to prevent and eradicate brain cancer.
I have decided to run to raise awareness, funding, and especially in Memory of Joan. We received the word on Valentines Day, February 14, 2013. She fought courageously for 18 months, surpassing any doctors expectations. This August will be 10 years that Joan Shirley (Crews Koehlerschmidt) Burnett left us due to glioblastoma. A brilliant, vibrant, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend.
The funds we raise will go directly toward:
- Helping brain cancer patients and their families navigate this challenging journey.
- Supporting healthcare providers who are exploring integrative approaches to healing.
- Funding researchers investigating both traditional and complementary therapies to combat cancer.
Your donations make a real difference! Here’s how your contribution can help:
- $25 funds 1 hour of a home health care aide.
- $75 provides transportation assistance for patients to and from appointments.
- $100 supports acupuncture sessions for comfort and relief.
- $250 helps cover the first chemotherapy treatment costs.
- $500 contributes to purchasing a power recliner for patients.
- $1,000 provides an adjustable mattress for added support and comfort.
This organization truly makes a difference, and I’d love for you to be a part of it. You can learn more about Keep Punching by visiting their official website: www.KeepPunching.org.
Together, we can bring hope and tangible support to those fighting brain cancer. Every donation, big or small, makes an impact.
Thank you so much for considering joining me in this effort. Your generosity means the world to me and to those we’re helping.
