Running for Kade: A Journey of Love, Strength, and Awareness!
Every step I take in this 5K is for my son, Kade. Recently diagnosed with level 3 autism, Kade is nonverbal and requires substantial support—but his journey is one of strength, resilience, and love. He may not use words, but he speaks in ways that touch the hearts of everyone who knows him!
Autism is not a one-size-fits-all experience, and too many families struggle to find the resources and support their family's needs! That’s why I’m running—to raise awareness, to advocate for acceptance, and to help provide a brighter future for individuals like Kade.
Every donation, big or small, helps cover costs associated with camp activities, materials, and scholarships, ensuring that Camp TESSA remains accessible to all families, regardless of financial circumstances. Your generosity means the world to families like mine, and together, we can create a more understanding and inclusive world for those on the autism spectrum.
Thank you for your support, your kindness, and for being part of this journey with us. Autism speaks in so many ways, and with your help, we can make sure every voice is heard.
With love and gratitude,
KayLa Nevills
