For the 6th year in a row(!), I am running (but let's be real - probably walking) this year's Crescent City Classic on behalf of the Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO), a 100-year-old plus organization with a legacy of service to the Greater New Orleans area. JLNO has been at the forefront of training women, investing in programs, and creating projects that make a significant impact. Our current programs (including the Diaper Bank, Woman Entrepreneur Fellowship, Scholarship among others) demonstrate that JLNO continues to address the critical issues facing women and families. Through these projects and the 40,000 hours our members dedicate annually, JLNO equips women to be more effective volunteers and leaders, recognizes and addresses community needs, and implements lasting change.
I am running (again, probably walking) for JLNO because we believe in a New Orleans where women are able to realize their full potential, driving transformative community impact. JLNO’s current community outreach provides direct service, educates the community, and advocates for issues that affect women. Please join me in advancing the wellbeing of women through JLNO’s innovative initiatives.
