A2SF prides itself on being an accessible and enduring local treasure, a hub of creative energy that expresses the best of our communities. In addition to a multi-week festival each June that brings together thousands of people and hundreds of concerts, art exhibitions, family-friendly activities, spectacle, and film screenings, A2SF presents unique live experiences throughout the year. Founded by the City of Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan as a nonprofit in 1984, A2SF takes place on both the City and the University of Michigan campus footprint, and the 43rd season runs Friday, June 12-Sunday, June 28. A2SF designs a widely accessible program for all ages, backgrounds, socioeconomic groups, and ethnicities.
