10th Annual Peacock Strides for Babies

My great niece, Emily, was a healthy, vibrant, and happy baby with red hair that was always blowing in the wind, thus the nickname "Peacock." She passed away suddenly in June of 2009 at the age of 5 months. Her cause of death was determined as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Funds raised will support research in the hope that the cause(s) of SIDS can be identified and ultimately prevented so that this terrible tragedy never happens to another family.

In September 2018 my brother Michael passed away. He's Emily's grandfather (the photo is him & Emily). He always attended the race. While I"m running, I'll be thinking of him being with Emily this year. Thank you for supporting Peacock Strides for Babies.
