Pierce County Search & Rescue is a non-profit providing personal 4-wheel drive vehicles for on or off-road SAR operations.  4×4 units are used for on or off road rough terrain transportation of SAR personnel, search dogs, supplies, and equipment. Training includes Safe Driving Techniques, Wilderness Navigation, Search and Rescue Techniques, Survival, First Aid, CPR and Communications. PC 4×4 members are trained observers and 4 wheel drive operators.
