We’re walking to honor a devoted husband; a caring father, son, and uncle; and a loyal friend to many. Mark Stem was diagnosed with ALS in 2021, a disease he approached with courage, dignity, and determination.
Throughout his journey, Mark remained deeply committed to helping others affected by ALS, lending his time, energy, and heart to support awareness and fundraising efforts. While Mark’s battle ended in October 2024, his legacy of strength, generosity, and resilience lives on.
We walk not only to remember Mark, but to support the ALS Hope Foundation, an organization that helped our family tremendously during the most difficult time of our lives. ALS is a devastating disease that affects not only those diagnosed, but their loved ones and communities. The resources, advocacy, and compassion provided by the foundation made a meaningful difference in Mark’s journey, and we hope to give back so that others facing ALS receive the same support.
Please consider donating or joining us in this year’s walk. Together, we can help provide hope, care, and progress for those affected by this terrible disease.
