In January 2025, I reached one of the darkest points in my life and attempted to take my own life. It’s something I never imagined I would go through, and it’s still hard to put into words. I was overwhelmed, lost, and felt like there was no way forward.
But I’m still here. And that’s something I’m deeply grateful for every single day. I know firsthand how heavy and isolating those moments can be, and I also know that no one should have to face them alone.
That’s why on November 2nd, I’ll be running the Cambridge Half Marathon to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). They work tirelessly to fund research, provide education, and offer support to those struggling with suicidal thoughts — as well as to families and friends who have lost someone.
This cause is deeply personal to me. I want to do my part to make sure that resources, understanding, and hope are there for others who might be in that same dark place I was earlier this year.
If you can, please donate — whether it’s in honor of someone you love, in support of those still fighting, or simply because you believe in the importance of mental health and suicide prevention. Every dollar makes a difference.
Thank you for helping me turn my pain into purpose. Together, we can help save lives.
