It’s no secret that music can help you feel better. That’s why WXPN Musicians On Call brings music to the people who need it most – hospital patients.
WXPN Musicians On Call brings live music to the bedsides of patients in nine area hospital throughout our region. With COVID-19 restrictions preventing or limiting in-hospital patient visits, bringing live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients and their caregivers is more important than ever. While in-person bedside performances are currently suspended, we continue to bring joy to hospital-bound patients in new ways:
- Virtual Bedside Performances connecting musicians with hospital-bound patients via video conferencing services.
- Music Pharmacies consisting of tablets equipped with streaming services and top-of-the-line headphones ready for patient use.
- #MOCheals Playlists offered to patients and caregivers to provide soothing and uplifting music whenever they need it.
Your tax-deductible donation will help WXPN deliver the healing power of music to patients and the caregivers and provide the funding needed to launch special musical outreach programs to first responders in the Delaware Valley.
