The Alaska Quilts of Valor is a 501 (c) (3) all volunteer organization. Our mission is to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing.
Funds raised will be used to purchase high quality fabric, batting, backing, labels, and sewing supplies. Our volunteers piece the Quilts of Valor together using a machine or by hand. The Quilts are made in Alaska and stay in Alaska!
The Quilt of Valor Foundation appreciates the service and sacrifice of those who are serving and have served in the Armed Forces to protect our freedoms. Our goal is to award a Quilt of Valor to every Service Member and Veteran who has been touched by war. The Quilt says unequivocally, “Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.”
