Story

Kimberly Anne Laperriere

January 10, 1977 - May 9, 2024

Kimberly Anne Laperriere of Hampstead, NH passed away peacefully in her home on May 9, 2024 after courageously battling cancer for over four years. She was one of two children born to John Reiss and Dinah Reiss in Portsmouth, NH. Kim grew up in Exeter, NH and graduated from Exeter Area High School in 1995. She attended the University of New Hampshire.

Kim worked as a realtor in the seacoast area for many years, most recently at The Gove Group in Stratham, NH. Kim loved helping people to find the home of their dreams. She also worked as a bartender at The Bratskellar, State Street Saloon and 12 Ocean Grill and always greeted people with a friendly smile and an empathetic ear. Kim had a warm personality that drew people in and allowed her to form many friendships in life.

Kim married the love of her life Joseph Laperriere on October 3, 2015. She became a stepmother to two amazing boys who she loved very much - Lucas and Logan. The family also had two dogs, Lucy and Murphy who were doted on by Kim.

One of Kim's favorite pastimes was spending time with family and friends. Her Father and stepmother Sue would come to visit often. They all enjoyed many family vacations together with her brother Michael Reiss, his wife Heather and their two children Will and Owen, and her sister Sarah Hockman, her husband James and their three children Oliver, Simon and Vera.

As an avid Boston sports fan, Kim traveled to see the Patriots play in many different cities. She also attended many Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox games over the years. She was extremely knowledgeable and would passionately discuss and defend her favorite teams.

The devastating loss of Kim has left a cavernous hole in the lives of her family and friends. Kim was predeceased by her brother William (Bill) Reiss. She is survived by her Husband Joseph Laperriere, stepsons Lucas and Logan Laperriere, Father John Reiss, stepmother Sue Reiss, Mother Dinah Reiss, Brother Michael Reiss and wife Heather, Sister Sarah Hockman and husband James, sister in law Maria Reiss, Mother in law Sandy Laperriere, sister in law Renee Laperriere, many neices and nephews and countless friends.
