Refund/Deferral Policy
The Cape Cod Marathon, Half & Relay and 5K does not refund registration fees under ANY circumstances. However, if you have registered for the marathon, half, Chowdah Challenge or 5K but find you are unable to participate you may choose to defer your 2021 entry in accordance with our deferral policy. There are no refunds or deferrals for relay teams.
Marathon/Half/Chowdah Challenge/5K deferrals are allowed from the date of registration through September 30, 2021. Absolutely NO deferrals will be allowed after September 30, 2021. Once a Marathon/Half deferral is requested, the decision is final. The Marathon/Half/Chowdah Challenge/5K deferral is good for one year only. An entrant with a Marathon/Half/Chowdah Challenge/5K deferral will be discounted 40% for the 2022 race; the 2021 registration fee is NOT refunded.
