Founded in 1986, Fearless! Hudson Valley, Inc., (formerly known as Safe Homes of Orange County), provides comprehensive support, services, and emergency shelter to adult and child survivors of domestic violence, teen dating violence, and human trafficking in Orange and Sullivan Counties. Their Fearless! mission is to build an informed, just, and accountable society so all people can experience supportive and safe relationships free from abuse, exploitation, and oppression. They do this by education, prevention, advocacy, and providing comprehensive services, including shelter, to victims and survivors of interpersonal violence, human trafficking, sexual violence, and other types of crime victimization.
In 2018, Fearless! answered 4,433 calls to their 24-hour hotline, 92 adults and 52 children slept safely in their emergency shelter, and their trained advocates provided services and support to 849 adults and 673 children through their Non-Residential Program.
