Douglas Kegler founded CollaborateMD in 1999 in order to help medical practices and medical billing services. From the beginning of his entrepreneurial career he was always giving back to the community. In 2019 he sold his company and founded the THEREE SIXTEEN Charitable Foundation with his family as a formal way to continue giving back to the community.
The name of THREE SIXTEEN was a magical number that was appearing everywhere when they were looking for a name for the foundation. For two weeks in a row they were seeing John 3:16 at church, then they bought a lot to build a house and the street number was 316. And finally, Doug and Zorely met on March 12 and have 4 daughters; 3+12+4= 316.
