Proceeds from this event will go to local businesses hit hardest by the COVID-19 shut down here in Lee County, Florida. The Fort Myers Track Club is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization established in 1978 that supports other local charitable organizations. Many of the local restaurants and businesses that have supported our fundraising over many years are now struggling to stay open or closing their doors, leaving many unemployed. This fundraiser will help support those businesses during this time of uncertainty. Participants that raise $250 will have their race fee waived.
If you choose to become an individual fundraiser for this event, please be aware all funds raised will be donated by the Fort Myers Track Club to local businesses that have previously supported our fundraising efforts. In furtherance of this, solicitation/fund raising for specific businesses will not be permitted. Any business or organization in need of assistance should be recommended or request assistance by emailing the track club at fmtrackclub.info@gmail.com.
